The Silent Killer.
As she read through the online news article throughly, she started to relate to the importance of it’s contents.
It was a message coming through to her like an echo on the wind. Something, that deep down she already knew, as she had felt that gut feeling for a few years now. It was a confirmation of the omen already set. “Will it be cut out in time,” Sophie wondered, as she felt a sudden outbreak of tearful and saddened emotion running down her checks. She had for a quite a while now come to adjust and accept the horrific and most emotional and painful gut feeling that had haunted her life for so long.
She was just another statistic on a piece of paper with thousands upon thousands of others. Sophie, finally wiped away the tears from her over flowing watery eyes.
She needed to put things into a logical order, to gain a realistic understanding of the whole situation.
Firstly, it’s not good news, but hopefully it can be resolved somehow, with a lot of self - courage, hope, care and positive energy, nothing is really impossible.
Secondly, there will be other people who have experienced this too, so even when the moments of sadness peep again, things will be made clearer, for sure.
Thirdly if the outcome is not good, then that’ll be another challenge to face and go through. Sophie was not one to not understand about challenges, as she had already met with so many of them along her life’s road. Each one just appeared to be much bigger than the last one.
Maybe those previous life challenges came to Sophie in various disguises, but never the less she would keep going.
Always somehow managing to survive them all one by one. That is up until now.
Sophie looked out of her living room window onto the garden thinking to yourself, “I need to make a long list, put things in place and sort out what i can, while i can.” She had the odd time, in previous days where she’d do the odd bit of reflecting. Only when she felt she needed to though.
Except today, felt much different.
When the article materialised on Sophie’s phone, it felt like some sort of divine sign, a supernatural omen, only confirming what she in her heart already knew.
What made it even more eerie, is that,
it was her Late Nana’s Birthday, who would have been 115 years old if she had still been alive.
If Sophie had ever questioned and felt any uncertainty about signs or omens in the past, she definitely didn’t today.
