There is someone destined for us no matter how we avoid it. Write a story on how destiny controls people's lives.
The right couple met at the wrong time. Blake was too young and Paul was engaged to someone else. But what they felt for each other was more than a fling. The spark they created promised to start a fire.
Time went by, the every day life got in the way. Paul was busy helping with the wedding, and Blake was trying to publish her book. Her thoughts always came back to him, the way his smile made her heart beat faster. He remembered that girl he had met, but thought it was nothing more than a silly crush.
At the church, Paul was about to say his vows when the bride said she couldn't marry him because she was in love with someone else. He was devastated, but deep down, he felt relief, as if he knew in his gut that would have been the worst decision of his life.
A week later, Blake is at a coffee shop when someone bumps into her. He apologizes and, when their eyes meet, her heart stops.
Paul ask her to have a coffee with him, and they both know that spark is still burning and decided to take a chance.
Six months later they were getting married and a year later, they had a baby boy.
