The bright, gentle, intermittent light produced by fireflies is great for courtship. Write a tale in response to it.
Gently through the night, a single firefly spreads its light . Into imaginary tunnels extremely dark, pitch black. The speck of light spreading into the stormy atmosphere. Whether far or near. The firefly delights. Quietly flying into the maze of bright starlights. Celebrating twisting turning, dancing free. Like an innocent child getting what he actually needs. The firefly spreads its wings, creating harmony within, distant echoes returning. Like a boomerang, postmarked to the sender. Address unknown, the mailbox broken into. Without a key, the intruder destroys the lock. The footage reviewed on TikTok. The firefly became famous pretending to dance. The orchestra played, then the curtains closed. Before an ovation of similar, fireflies clapped their wings but didn't rise, they froze. Until the public of fireflies demands a recount, to settle the matter with, foresight, not doubts. The lonely firefly flying to center stage, the spotlight highlighting,the space where it bowed its little head. Seeing the unseen.
