I Believe an Introductory is in Order (not a story)
So, like many here, I came from Poetizer. I have been writing since 2016 back in the days of G+. G+ was the first social site I used and I met many of my friends there to which we are still in contact. My main inspiration for writing were my old haikus that I wrote in high school. I thought to myself "Why not do it again?" So I did. I picked up a pen and never put it down, until G+ was shut down around 2018. I was destroyed as it had become my home for poetry. So I lost my inspiration and it was hard to get it back. I briefly got inspired again when I found an app called HaikuJam. But that is no longer available. Then, some years later and just recently, I came across Poetizer. But that took a steep turn in the wrong direction. Now I'm here, on Writco. I'm hoping it lasts and I can find my inspiration once again. I used to write every day in the past but every time I start to feel at "home", I am forced to leave. Maybe this will be different. And of course, I love Robert Frost, Edgar Allan Poe, and Erin Hanson. Respectfully my favorite poems from each are, "Nothing Gold Can Stay" - Robert Frost, "Eldorado" - Edgar Allan Poe, and "Storyteller" - Erin Hanson.
