The car sped through the dark night, it's headlights flashing, warning the incoming traffic. Seeing the on coming vehicle, I should have stopped there and then, but I was tired and needed to get home.
It had been a long day at the office. Emails one after the other were bombarding me, each one eager for my attention like a spoilt child.
I looked at the clock on the computer, 16:57. While others around me were shutting down and putting on their coats, I still had at least three more hefty sales orders to process. I was the last one on my floor and going to be here for another twenty minutes. It was during that time I felt the tremor.
