Paenitet
#WritcoStoryPrompt123
Start your story about how a single word may bring a fight to an end.

The whole world seemed to be spinning. All I heard were battle cries of my warriors. The person I was fighting was once my friend. We spent everyday of our lives together. She said I betrayed her. I said she did to me. We were both blinded by anger.

I began slashing my sword left and right. Every one of my now enemies would have to feel my rath before there death. I felt so free. It felt so good to see my now enemies die.

I finally met her on the field. We fought long and hard. Our blades were swift yet strong. All I could think of was the fact that she betrayed ME. I began running towards her. I knocked her down and managed to bash her weapon away.

"Paenitet" She said

Why would she say that now out of every time she could of? So she's sorry now?

"It's to late." I said to her with my face full of rage. I lifted my sword, but I couldn't kill her.

She got up and hugged me. I started to cry. I'm not mad at her. At least, not anymore. Part of me wanted to put this sword straight through her heart but the other told me to, forgive.

Everything was blurry after that. I found myself awake in a giant bedroom with my best friend standing right next to me smiling.

The war was long gone. I've learned to control the anger that has caused chaos and make better days ahead of my.
