One of my favorite gifts this year was a journal that my mother gave me. She told me that I've always enjoyed writing although I didn't pick it up again until I started doing morning pages over a decade ago.
Since then I've stopped and picked it up again...
It wasn't until a life coach informed me that I did it quite well that I stuck with it. Sometimes it allows me to escape reality and other times it helps me put it in focus. While I was growing up, I was really good at art and most people encouraged me to go with it.
