The Morning Star shined brightly and intensly, as Drake was taken to the nearby Elven military fort of Folkvardr.Runa ordered him to go to the new recruitment line and await for her there. Upon greeting the ten new recruits, there training began for the next few cycles. Drake and the nine other recruits were the Ivorborinn (warrior-born) and we're taught swordsmanship, hand-to-hand combat, horseback riding, and archery. The young man would fall and rise again after each failed attempt, but wanted to prove himself. Runa's training was fierce, but effective.She instilled discipline and loyalty in her soldiers.She was more focuesed on Drake's progression and shaping his mind to how the elves perceive their lives.
Night shined with the stars in the sky, as Drake rested under a great oak, while star-gazing. It was during this time that he would look at all that had happened to him recently. Having traveled back millions of years to the Mythical Age, the temporal anomaly had accelerated his growth from a child to a young adult, and he had no idea how to return home.As a tear began to appear, he was met by his blademaster;
Drake:(tearful) Master Runa, your here.
Runa: Why are you out here!? You should be resting in the fort's barracks?
Drake: I'm sure you know by now, I'm not from here. I've grown into a young man.My mother and father, there gone. And I may never get back to them. I'm saddened by all that has happened.
Runa punched him in the face and grabbed him by his training garbs.
Runa: You are Ivorborinn, you serve our Empress Ragnhild. You have an obligation to fulfil.Except fate into your life and rise with the star of dawn.
Runa released him, as he sat down next to her, she gave Drake an Apple.He asked her about her former life, while she stood beside him;
Runa: I was born into the clan of ANLEIFR(heir of our ancestors), weighted with so much burden and responsibilities.I honored my people by serving in our empire and dedicated my life to protecting all I care about.But thats enough for tonight.Now go and get some rest. We will rise with the dawn and greet it!
