We always have one person in our life who seems perfect in all angles. We just want to be like that one person.His mistakes, faults,way of living, smile, behaviour, lifestyle everything influences us.Now this particular person may be known to us may be unknown.But the thing is we are quiet in love with the feeling of being like them.And thats idol.Who always influences us and impacts our life and choices in number of ways.


This person may be our father, mother, teacher may be prime minister Modi ji , famous cricketer Sachin Tendulkar or may be a super hero.Anyone whether known or unknown can influence us. Not necessarily idol must be a person it also can be a book, tree, river or a movie character. Everyone has a special idol and everyone make efforts to be like them. Having a idol is really important because it gives us goal in life .We start having desires , expectations and then we start striving hard for achieving it.Sometimes idol may be a rebel.....who flows against the current but its good for society. After some time we need to change the social norms which bind us from humanity.It is necessary infact to have a rebel for making society healthy.


Personally my idol is a coconut tree who selflessly gives everything. This huge tree teaches us kindness, generosity , compassion and care. Everything of this tree is useful. We use coconuts to eat, the leaves to make beautiful baskets, also coconut is hard outside but tender inside this gives moral values of being sensible. It's ok to have more than one idol. Even I have two. Second one is a river, that flows smoothly.... no stones or rocks can stop its flow. River is generous it lends its water to all people passing away without making any discrimination. It carries with it all the mud but still it never becomes muddy. It is crystal clear and soothing. Not only humans it quenches thust of animals, birds everyone. It is the god father of plenty of little plants that grow beside her.


At last I would like to say every individual is different and they choose their idol according to the dream life they want to live.They search for common factors within them and their idol. Idol works as a motivator to inspire people to do what they want. When we reach our destination , life again revolves and we find a better idol with aspirations of the next goals.And that's the maze called life. we humans always have desires one after another and we complete them till end of our life. Idols are just a means who work as motivators..... With time they keep changing.

Who knows..... While reaching goals and creating our dream life we too become someones idol?
