Silent Carriages
#LastTrain

The sky seems gloomy
It was a moonless night
The silence hung in the
Air, like a shadow
Trying to free itself
From past leaving
The trails behind.

I was standing
On the platform
The clock chimed
3 AM
Deserted roads,
No sign of a
Life.

The train whistle,
As the light
Beam in my
Eyes, to my
Surprise I found
A strange figure
Following me.

The train is at halt
I quickly move
In ladies compartment
I am alone,
As my gaze fix
On a man
Covered in black
Had black round eyes,
He disappeared leaving
A strange suitcase behind.

The train moved away,
And I silently kept
Watching the trees
The clouds my home,
That I have left behind.

I am a commuter,
Trying to escape
From my fears
And failures.

As I opened the
Suitcase, I saw
my past self,
The burried memories
And silent cries
That echoes in the
Carriage..

The trauma it
Carried, with a
broken heart &
a painted smile,
The eyes that
Search for love,
In this endless ocean
Of people, I was the
finding the one
who was meant for me.

With a heavy heart,
I let the memories
Flow, I burned the
Suitcase of my past
And regret, I let it
All go.

I saw silhouettes
from different eras
Their eyes glimed
In the darkness,
As our train travel
Through the tunnels

Darkness engulfed
Us, I could feel
Shadows haunting
Me, and I heard
some voices around
Me, they were strange
A lady was humming
something, she smelt
unusual for some reason,
I felt it all unusual,
I wanted to leave
As the train was about
To halt, I heard a
Whisper, let the
Way lead you
Towards your destination
I heard a voice from behind

I got down from train
I saw train left
Into the unknown
I was alone leading
My way towards my
Dreams the sky was
Pitch black and had
A hint of Stardust.

It was almost dawn,
I saw myself in a
Town, standing amongst
The wildflowers field
As the sun painted
My brown skin,
The sky was clean,
I was in a world of
My dreams everything
Was so perfect,
As I saw my dreams
Fulfilled in my eyes,
I wondered how
Some unusual journeys
Lead you to your destinations.
