Omolara's Cross Episode 2
Omolara sighed, her resolve weakening. "Fine, Kunle. Talk."

Kunle nodded, relief washing over his face. "Let's grab a drink somewhere quiet."

Omolara agreed, and they walked to a nearby café. Over coffee, Kunle poured out his heart, explaining how he'd realized too late that he loved her, and how his mistakes had haunted him ever since.

Omolara listened, her emotions in turmoil. Part of her still loved Kunle, but another part remembered the pain he'd caused.

"I don't know, Kunle," she said finally. "I've moved on with my life. I'm not sure I can just forgive and forget."

Kunle's face fell, but he nodded. "I understand. I just needed to see you, to know you're doing okay."

As they finished their drinks, Omolara felt a sense of closure. Maybe this chance encounter was the universe's way of giving her closure.

But just as they were about to part ways, Kunle dropped a bombshell: "Omolara, I have a daughter. Her name is Tiwa, and she's yours."

Omolara's world spun around her. A daughter? How was this possible?
Omolara's mind reeled as she stared at Kunle. "What do you mean she's mine?" she asked, her voice shaking.

Kunle took a deep breath. "After we parted ways, I was reckless. I didn't know you were pregnant. But when I found out, I was too ashamed to reach out."

Omolara felt like she'd been punched in the gut. A daughter? She had a child out there?

"Where is she?" Omolara demanded, her anger rising.

Kunle hesitated. "She's with my sister, in Abuja. I've been sending money, but...I know it's not enough."

Omolara's world was spinning. A child, a secret daughter, a whole new reality.

"I want to see her," Omolara said, her voice firm.

Kunle nodded. "I'll arrange it. But, Omolara, please...forgive me."

Omolara's expression softened, just a little. "I'll try, Kunle. But first, I need to meet my daughter."
