Jesus and the 6th Commandment
6th commandment.6️⃣

Against murder:
Deuteronomy 5:17
[17]Thou shalt not kill.

Jesus clarified that any act perpetrated by anger or any utterance of insulting and cussing against another is punishable under this law:
Matthew 5:21-22
[21]Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:📜
[22]But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire

Jesus required settling any matter of dispute or guilt to be cleansed from this sin:
Matthew 5:23-25
[23]Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
[24]Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

[25]Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.🤲🙅❎🚔🏣

He considered murderers, liars, and selfish people as sons of the wicked:
John 8:43-45
[43]Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.👂
[44]Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.👿
[45]And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. ⚔️

Jesus rebuked the spiritual murder that stems from anger and hatred to prevent a person from commiting a physical murder, as Cain did to his brother:
Genesis 4:6-8
[6]And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?😩
[7]If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

[8]And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. ⛏️

Thus, He commanded forgiveness to avoid being the cause of sin:
Luke 17:1-4
[1]Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 🤦
[2]It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

[3]Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
😔🤔
[4]And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
