The Cursed Straightener Chapter 2
CHAPTER - 2 : The girl named Elsa?
I plugged in the straightener, a red light glowed in it showing that it was on, it's temperature button was automatic so I didn't have to manage that, yesterday itself I watched a video on YouTube on how to do straightening cause I didn't knew how to use it, it was my first time.
I slowly put my thin strips of hair between its plates and soon I finished, and when I looked into the mirror, my hair looked so beautiful that I can't even express in words, they were dazzling and shining, I don't know how, but no matter I liked them very much. Who knew that it was a track of that evil.
Anyways, I got good mood and went downstairs to have breakfast and go to school.

At night, after taking shower, I laid on my bed thinking about how my day passed, first mom praised my hair and at school everyone was staring at me because I had the most beautiful hair, my friends who teased me, were now staring at me with mouth wide open, it was my happiest day ever.
Then I handled over my straightener and cut Elsa's name and instead of that wrote my name and was my second most biggest mistake.
Then days passed and everyone praised my beautiful hair. But one day at school, in Physics class suddenly my one hair got straight in an upward direction, when the class was finished my friend Bell noticed and ask me what is that, I touched it and felt really hard, I tried to pull it down but was not able to do it.
Bell convinced me by saying that after taking a shower it will be alright, and it happened too, after taking a bath at night, no hair was standing, I slept by wondering what would cause that to happen

The next day at school in lunch break, Bell saw something on my head, then when I touched it, it was really hard but this time it was not one hair, it was a bunch of hair, I was very much embarrassed and ran to washroom, Bell ran after me,
Bell : What is that happening with your hair.
Sandy : ( looking at the mirror and trying to take that bunch of hair down ) How would I know, it never happened before yesterday.
Bell : Have you started to apply something different on your hair
Sandy : No, what could be the reason behind this".
Bell : Now how will you attend your classes.
Sandy : Damn it, I totally forgot about the remaining classes, but Bella I could not attend them, can you do me a favor.
Bell : Yeah! Sure, but sure but what can I do?
Sandy : Can you please call my mother and tell her that I am not feeling well, then she would pick me up from this situation.
Bell : Yeah! I will do that but...
As she was going to say something I mobbed her and said,
Sandy : Quick we have no time.
And she left, hopefully my Mom came to pick me up and then I went to home.
I planned to tell mom that my stomach was hurting as I don't want to eat tiffin too, after taking a nap at afternoon, at night when I looked into the mirror I found my all hair normal.
Then I thought what if tomorrow also my hair become like this, then what will I do, I glanced at the calendar and found that it was weekend, it was Saturday, I was so relieved, I thought that now I got a chance to check if something happens to my hair or not, then I slept peacefully.
The next day, I woke up, and then combed my hair, I usually do no straighten them everyday but did it frequently like in every 3 days.
So today was holiday so I made a plan with Bell to hang out in a park.
At evening, we went to the park, she asked me,
Bell : How's your hair now.
Sandy : Till now, nothing happened.
Bell : So did you find the reason that why your hair were acting strange from two days.
Sandy : I already told you that I don't know, what't going on with my hair.
Bell : I think maybe that's because of the straightener.
Sandy : Yeah! maybe, hmm, ( I changed the topic ) let's eat Ice cream, look there's an ice cream seller ( pointing towards him ), I changed the topic because I was bored of talking the same things over and over again.
We enjoyed very much, then we went to our homes, and then I ate dinner and went in my room, I lifted the straightener, and thought that, did Bell said the truth, is it really because of the straightener. I sat on bed thinking hard about this.

The next day, I straightened my hair, today was also a holiday, but I wanted to stay at home, my lot's of homework was unfinished, so I decided not to go out today, at evening, I was alone in my house, my parents went for a hangout, they asked me to come with them but as I said I had a lot of homework to do, that's why I refused to go with them.
I came downstairs to take a break from study to eat snacks and watch TV, I sat on the couch and switched on the TV and my favorite cartoon Doraemon was going on, I was busy watching it.
But, suddenly, the light and fan and TV switched off, I thought light is gone, but I heard something, it was a sound of current, it appeared like something was short circuiting, I was very scared, the sound came from my room, I went upstairs slowly, the crackling sound grew more louder and louder.
I opened the door of my room, and found that I have left the straighter ON and it was shining with dazzling red colour, indicating that the temperature was the highest, it was on my bed, without thinking a moment I switched Off the button in which it was plugged in, I got relieved because now there was no danger.
But as I turned towards the door, I saw a girl, she was Red, like the dazzling straightener, and she was staring at me, she was wearing a raucous dress which appeared like a petticoat and her hair was straight but in an upward direction, her eyes were shining like it was filled with lava, I got scared very much and asked her in a stammering voice,
Sandy : Who are you?
And then she started to come towards me, closer and closer, now she was a inch far from me.
She raised her hand, I thought that she is going to burn me into ashes but then she touched the straightener and got vanished, and I was standing there, my feets trembling, my heart beating faster and faster, the only thought in my mind was who is she?
