The Willowmen
A driver parked beneath a tree
All is dark,nothing to see
The cars front lights flickered on
the feeling of solitude felt quite odd

A nervous wave of caution arose
Yet still silent the willow man go
As time when buy the driver stared
Across the windshield a sound that snared

The driver looked across the plaine
It was a look that drove him insane
A tall thin figure was up and about
It stopped and stared, then let out a shout

The tall thin figure continued to stare
The driver was left then very aware
That the creature in fact was not human at all
At least no human being could be that tall

The driver then looked beyond the light
A mark in the house clear was the sight
A slow and steady breath the driver then said
This is the place that the willow man tread.

In a blink the willow man was gone
In time The night then turned to dawn.
The moral of the story is not to believe
But to know that somethings may never leave.
