The best example of a warrior women in my life was my mother in law.. The strongest lady I ever met.. Life offered her many challenges to knock herdownat different stages of her life but she was atrue warrior who always stood firm and showed life that i can fight at what ever circumstances you throw at me.. She was born to her parents on 15th February 1949. In all they were six siblings, she was always different and special from all six. She was born beautiful as a baby but due to mishandling of a nurse at hospital, she was hurt on her left eyeand it got infected. To stop the infection spread till her brain, they had to remove her left eye. Her hardships began as a baby. She completed her school and college and was holding a degree of M.A in Politics. She always had an inferiority complex throughout her school and college life as she felt she looks ugly with one eye but indeed she was beautiful inside out. There were many a times in her life, that she was saved by the grace of almighty from many accidents in her life like sickness, dog bite, hair got burnt etc. She thought she would never get married as nobody will love her ever. Yash raj film's famous dialogue "someone somewhere is made for you" had to come true in her life and indeed she was supposed to give me my husband. 😊. She got married on 28th December 1978 to Mr. Sudhir Ravade who was an God fearing and extraordinary man who excepted her as she is. Eventually God blessed them with one Son and one daughter. Beautiful, picture perfect family. Life was smooth and at its best. Nothing would go wrong, now finally there was a sunshine after a long time.. Days passed by and suddenly on 21st October 1993 her husband went to be with the Lord due to a massive heart attack. She was devastated and shattered, all alone with two small kids of age 10 and 12. She felt so deserted sitting under a huge sky seeing her own dreams shatter into pieces in the strongest of day light. She congregated every bit of herself altruistically with only one focus on her mind to raise her two kids. She was working as a senior clerk at Clara Bruce High school Ahmednagar.. Her forecasting, financial management, strong mindedness, planning and focus kept her going towards success along with grace of almighty. Years passed by children grew into adults. In 2001 5th January, She and her Son were on the way to pune in a private bus, when suddenly the bus drivers couldn't control the bus and bus rolled into a small valley.. Four people died on the spot. She and her Son faced the death so closely but managed to survive as she was a warrior women, never giving up so easily. Two to three months they took to recover from their injuries. She worked for long 38 years as a clerk where she also handled accounts with no errors, not to forget with one eye. Her Son & daughter found out partners for themselves and she allowed them to marry their own choices in 2007. Her son was an engineer and daughter a teacher. She then purchased 1BHK in Pune without any loan. Hat's off to her financial planning.. She also owned 1BHK at her native place Nagar. She was never less than any man to raise the standards of living. As she got promoted to being a grandmother, we shifted to 2BHKwith her help and loan,where she had her own room with all amenities. She had one grand son from her son and two grand sons from daughter. She enjoyed her role of grandma and loved her grandchildren selflessly. She spent her days reading Holy Bible and books. She had always strong faith in God. This Warrior women obeyed the calling of the Lord and passed away on 18th May 2019 due to hear attack. At her last moment also she choosed to be alone as her son and family and daughter and her family were out od station when she breath last. Alone she came, alone she fought and alone she went. Many things to learn from this fighter women, most importantly she taught us through her life to never give up and be a warrior. Situations may knock u down but rise up and show that you can fight.
