"The Little Redhead" - Chapter forty-two ("Third Candle") - by Diana Goldovniuk
Morning came and the redhead woke up.
She had a strange feeling of headache and for several minutes it was difficult for her to move because the feeling of levitation affected her.
She felt she needed a few moments to get used to her physical body again. She wished herself to experience the out-of-body feeling again because it was magical and intriguing.
The redhead remembered that at night that day another interesting experience awaited her, she could no longer wait, she just counted the minutes and every minute seemed like an eternity to her with anticipation.
The redhead went downstairs and didn't see her husband again.
She told herself that he went to work again and didn't even say anything.
One moment the redhead was a little sad but calmed down.
The redhead felt empty, heavy earth beneath her, felt the dryness touch her feet.
After a few moments, she returned to her yellowhead baby in the crib and fed her. She looked at her and was very happy.
Again, night came and the redhead lit a third candle.
Out of excitement she dropped the candle in a moment, but caught it quickly and carefully. She was so excited she wasn't even scared, she was full of curiosity.
The redhead lit a match, put the candle on the table and lit it. She said the sentence: "I'm here, third candle, show me your way."
One moment later, the ground beneath her became less dry, the floor in her room was filled with grass and fragrant flowers, everything seemed magical. The redhead saw from her surroundings that the whole floor had become like a field.
This even made her shed a tear because she remembered...
