I was traveling by a train to Siliguri from Dalgaon station. The journey took three days. In the train's compartment including more passengers were watching a monkey drama ,on whom shoulder a monkey was playing and responding to our stimulis. Suddenly a little boy yelled and said that he wanted that monkey. Then the monkey jumped from the man's shoulder and sat by the little boy.He smiled and played on with the monkey. I was watching those drama sitting by the window seat. This all was going right accurately. Suddenly a ticket collector came to us and collected our tickets . He ordered some of passengers to get off the next station for having no tickets. Then the TC's eye fell on the little boy with a monkey. He said ", No animals are allowed in the conveyances, if anyone does he will be prosecuted even he is less age." Now the boy's father requested the TC not to do like that illegal work again. But the TC didn't agree and lodged a complain against the little boy . In silence words to the man's ear the TC said ," If you don't want that your son goes to the jail ,give me One Thousand rupee and close this matter. The man was very poor who was going to his sister's house with his son to attend the Rakshabandhan ritual. He had only one thousand to buy a present for his sister and other spends. The TC didn't agree and pulled the brake chain and the train stopped. It was 9 p.m when the father and son was brought out from the train. When the train was just about to move, I pulled the brake chain again and make the train waited. The TC came and scolded me for pulling the chain. Then I showed my compassion to the TC for the poor man and his little son. What kind of man are you! I said to the Ticket collector. We know that carring an animal in the trains are illegal and punishable. But the monkey does not belong to the man and his son. The monkey was of a hawker who was showing us the monkey drama in the train compartment. His little son insisted on taking the monkey along him and the hawker agreed too. It seemed the TC now realised. When I got off the train , I saw the two going through the bushy path with a heavy luggage. I called them once and when they could not listen and I approached. I said," Now don't worry, the TC is now resolved to carry you and your son with the innocent monkey for which the whole drame occurred. I took them into the compartment . The man and his little son thanked me . Later they offered me a cup of tea. Now all is fine and accurate. They said ," The kind heart!"
