The ship was in the harbour and its steel anchor was affixed to the nearby boulder. There were shallow waters upto a few feet. Johnny had to rush so he picked up a life jacket and wore it and went in the waters. The water was ice cold and the he felt the coldness all over his body. To push himself forward he bit his tongue so that the pain made him awake and pushed him .
He climbed the rope and at last reached. The watch showed 12. 10. Due to the heavy fog everything was hazy and almost invisible. He had a torch that he switched on. The fog was thick and wet and so everything was wet too. Therefore his footprints were not there . That was perfect.
