Is it witchcraft, or mental illness? Mental illness is real and we need to be taught more about it.
I grew up in a place where people are criticized and given names for things they do. Change in behavior, lifestyle, habits, etc. You will be walking alone on the street singing and praying, you crazy because you can’t be talking alone. Assumptions run in their mind quickly that you are mad for picking up papers because someone littered on the street. We have different beliefs that were instilled in us growing up. It got me to conclude that beliefs are limiting. And I wonder, could we be overlooking certain situations and challenges we facing by justifying everything to avoid reality? Are we more comfortable in deceiving ourselves by repeatedly telling a lie to sugarcoat the truth? Are we going to face the truth at some point to find ways of learning, understanding, healing, and being less judgmental? We need healing to mend our broken hearts to love more. Hence I mention healing.
