This movie is a tribute to our Kargil girl 'Gunjan Saxena, the very first female Air force pilot in combat.
I started watching with a dubious mind, whether Janhvi could able to do justice to this character, cause she acted like a parrot in her very first movie, which was utterly flop. However, she totally changed my preconceived notion, and proved that she's able to do such serious roles in an almost perfect way. Coming to the technical part, cinematography and direction were hand in hand, which enhances the beauty of the movie. Also, the songs were plotted in perfect scales.
The another striking feature of this movie was the top notch casting. In that, Pankaj Tripati as Gunjan's father did a phenomenal job with his subtle acting. His magical performance will absolutely grab your whole attention towards him, whenever he comes to the screen.
The perceptible drawback might be the script cause, it's foreseeable however, the arousal of patriotic moments may compensate it to an extent.
Overall, this movie gives hope to the women who dream about flying or joining Army to serve their country. Also, the movie point out the male dominant patriarchal perspective, and how it changed slightly from the older days, and how much women struggled to achieve what they have today in their lives.
Salute to all the unknown women who served for us and our country.
