The Unseen Inhuman (Chaper 3)

'Twas a new day with a new mystery. Lara went to college and searched for Anita. She was desperate to hear about her crush. She searched for her but couldn't find her. After a long wait...Anita finally arrived. Seeing Anita near the entrance, Lara ran towards her.

"Anita...dear dear where were you? I was waiting for you. Why are you so late today?"

"Oh hello wait...give me a moment to breathe first! I was enquiring about your Red Eyed Guy. I missed my lecture too 'cause of that," replied Anita.

"So did you find something?" Lara asked half heartedly because she thought that the chance of finding a stranger amidst so many people was too vague.

"Yeah....he doesn't have a red eye by the way....he just wears a red lens," replied Anita.

"Wait...wait ...wait....what did you just say???? You found him amongst so many people....you are saying that you found the person I were talking about?"

"Miss Lara Sen.....don't forget that I have 20k friends on Facebook. And apart from that, I'm a student of this college from the past three years. It wasn't much difficult to find your guy....just required coming live on fb you know!" winked Anita smiling, proud of her detective work. She continued, "Also another thing about your Mr. Stranger is that he studies here itself. Just a batch senior. And yeah....one more thing, he has no girlfriends," she smirked at Lara.

"Well thank you Miss Google for your information. But tell me one thing, why didn't I see him in college?" questioned Lara.

"A batchmate of his said that nobody knows much about him. He's a quiet guy, rarely speaks to anyone. Nobody knows where he lives, what has happened to him....nothing!" answered Anita. She noticed that her friend was getting disheartened . In order to cheer her up she said, "Don't worry we'll surely be able to get his number. Oh by the way his name is..." her voice lowered as she couldn't remember it.

"Wait Lara, I saved it in my phone. His name is strange just the way he is," she laughed and looked for his name. "Oh here...gotcha! His name is Aamon Dias."

"Aamon Dias?" repeated Lara. She felt something strange about the name.

"Yeah..that's exactly what his name is. I don't have much information. But...but...but....you need not worry darling. I'll get his entire biodata." Lara smiled to Anita's statement.
"Okay Lara, I have to leave early today. My brother is coming in the afternoon. My mum told me to help her in the chores. Bye for now babe," Anita hugged her and then started to run home.

Lara went to the canteen and ordered her usual coffee. In the back of her mind, she was thinking about that name. She felt like she had heard his name somewhere. She took out her cell phone and searched for it...no not in any social media. She wanted to find out what the meaning was. Her guess was right. She had seen that name before in a novel.

"Hmmmm.....Aamon...a demon...holds the title of prince in demonology," something struck inside her as a warning that what if she was messing with danger. But her stubborn heart was adamant that it's her love and she has to find him.

She got engrossed reading a novel. After some time when she looked around the room, she found that it was almost empty. Her eyes suddenly fell on a tall, well built guy. He was sitting and writing something in a corner table. Lara felt a sudden urge to get up and see who it was.

"Excuse me..." she patted on the back of shoulder of that stranger. He turned back at once Lara got the shock of her life! It was the same guy with those red eyes....red lens according to her I mean...Aamon....Aamon Dias!

She couldn't beleive her eyes. He was the one she was looking for. She couldn't move her eyes away from him. He was like a Greek God! His hair were more wavy and beautiful than the waves of the ocean and dark as night, his lips were in between a shade of red and pink and reminded of the sky at the time of dusk, his nose were sharp and jawlines well defined. There was a cut on his left cheek and another one on top of his right eyebrow. But that never looked like a flaw, rather it made him look even better. His skin was pale and he had his left ear pierced with a diamond. But the sparkle on his face outwitted the sparkle of that diamond and made it look like a mere stone.

"What happened? Why did you call?" he asked when they had had enough silence between them. Lara came out of her trance hearing his deep voice. "I...I.....I....Want...wanted to ...to see...if it's ...my friend Anita," she fumbled.

"Do I look like a girl to you?" Aamon questioned her. He wasn't polite but wasn't angry either. He always had this stern way of speaking. May be his situation never allowed him to be soft spoken.

"Yes...I mean....NO...no...definitely not! You are too handsome to be a girl," realizing what she had just said ....she corrected herself, "I mean your hair is very good. I am Lara Sen by the way. Are you Aamon Dias?"

Aamon looked a bit shocked hearing his name from her mouth but quickly recovered himself from that expression without being noticed by Lara. "Yes I am! But I don't make friends...Get that clear!" He spoke with authority and quickly left.

Lara kept standing there. It seemed as if she was bewitched by his looks.
"Ma'am...Ma'am," someone shook her. "May I ask if you are done because it's time to close the canteen," asked the man.

"Yeah yeah...just a min. I'm leaving," she replied and went to her table to collect her stuff. She picked up her diary and wrote,

"The Universe warns me of some unpredicted danger,

Of this journey where I could be lost;

I'm scared yet with a vallant heart I march forward,

Got nothing to lose but I have to succeed at every cost!"

The final cleaning and sweeping for the day was done. The canteen was to be locked. It was late.

She smiled glancing through her poem and left for home....
