We were still young and feeble in our emotions. we had never fallen in love before, never had hurt strengthen our hearts or moulded our souls. We were naive about those feelings that we were feeling. I quite couldn't grok why my senses had trained themselves to sense you. why my eyes would search for you in the emptiness of the wall, in the absentness of the world, in the lonesomeness of the crowd. why would my head involuntarily turn towards your direction and look for you in my heart? why awkwardness came much easier than came words, why silence came between us with such burning passion, why oneness of our soul tore us apart in such freezing fashion? why a simple exchange of gaze was so tough on us? why a day without you felt like a lifetime of loss ? My heart would run wild towards exploding, at your presence, beat like a hammer on cloth. my knees gave up when you smiled and everything came to a halt. everything fell together like collective of thunderbolts. I would die for a moment in a moment that was to last forever. Moment that runs in loop. Moment of togetherness between me and you. moment that we lived but never lived through.
