18th August, is a special day for me and probably for them too since 2016. So, It's the evening time, on 18th August. I with two of my best friends gonna meet at our favourite place, i.e, at Belly view point. I was very much excited as we're going to visit sunset from there after 2 months. Yep, 2 months, a kinda long time for us. It was because our HS final examination was going on and we had to give our time completely in studies. So, coming to the day, when Aayana called me in the morning and told me about the meeting, I can't express the situation in words, how much happy I was. I asked my mom and she allowed me to go and it made me happier than before. Whole day till the evening, I was just carrying a smiley face all the time and each one my family members asked me about the reason why am I smiling as I used to be serious all the time and I answered each one of them. Finally, at 3.30 PM, I went there, Aayana and Riki were already there. I went to them and hugged each other and then we seat there to see the memersing view of sunset next the the Brahmaputra river. We talked, laughed, made jokes and discussed about many topics. Suddenly, Aayana shouted, "Stop!! Stop!!," We looked at her..... Aayana looked at Riki then looked at me. I hadn't understood what happened suddenly. Aayana said, " Riki!! Let's start the topic for which we come here." Then Riki said, "Ohh!! Damn, How I could I forget it." I was just looking at them, didn't getting what's going on. So I asked, "Heyy, Can you let me know what's going on ?" They stopped and gazed each other. Then both of them started together, "Yaar Tina....!! We don't want to hurt you. Please don't take us in wrong way." I didn't understand what they were talking about, so I said, "You've not hurted me till now.. and we are best friends. If someday, any kinda problem arises in our lives, seems like misunderstanding, we'll resolve it. Don't worry about it. Let's talk about anything else." Then Riki said, "No! No!! You haven't understood what we want to mean." I felt something weird and asked, "Then, make me understand, for what are you waiting for ?" I realized, both of them were looking at me in a different way. As soon as I could say, Aayana said, "We want a complete break from our friendship." and she turned her face back. I shocked, "What do you mean ?" Without thinking anything I said. Riki came closed to me, hold my hands and gazed at my eyes. Then looking down, he said, "I don't know how to start.. but I have to say for which we come here." I stared at his face, then I saw Aayana, she was standing at a little distance from us. I went to her and said, "Come here, I don't know what both of you wanna say. So I wanna know, please." I felt like something gonna be wrong. She came and looked at Riki, then looked at me. "Tell me what happen.. I wanna know please.. Are you hiding something from me ? Please don't do this. What's wrong.. say fast." I said all these in a breath. Riki came close to me and tapping my back he said, "Relax!! Relax!We'll tell you everythi....." "Yeahh..we'll tell you everything to-day. Just give us a few minutes to prepare ourselves for it", Aayana said without letting Riki to complete his sentence. "OKAY" I said and went a far away from them and took a deep breath. After a few minutes, they came to me, "Tina" Aayana called me. I turned back and saw them. They're looking at the ground. I said, "So, Have you prepared yourself ? If yes.. then tell me please.. fast!!" . Riki looked at me and said, "Actually, we don't know what happens but we think we can't continue the same bonding of friendship. We have accepted that you're one of the best person we have ever met in our lives and somehow, we realized that, we will never have a friend like you." "Yes. But still we can't continue this friendship further. We are so sorry. We know, "SORRY" is not enough. Infact, there's no word that we can say right now to you as an apology. But try to understand yaar!!" Aayana insisted . Again, Riki said, "There's a reason behind it which we can't tell you. We have nothing to do except it. It will be our last meet, last conversation and.....". Suddenly, Aayana hugged me and Riki joined too by saying, "Last hug too." I saw tears in their eyes but I didn't feel a single drop of water in my eyes or in my cheeks. "Do you have anything to say before we say our last word", Riki said. I was just standing like a lifeless thing, neither even uttered a word, nor even cried. "Tina... Heyy...!! " Aayana shouted, shaking my body. "Oh, yeah..!! I don't have anything to say..please tell me your last words", I said. Both of them shouted, "Seriously....! You don't have anything". I said, "Nope, please continue. " Aayana asked, "Don't you even wanna ask the reason behind it ?", I just said, "No". They looked at each other and said to me, "Okay, have a great life, Goodbye." And stared at me. I didn't say anything. "Goodbye...!!!! Goodbye Tine." Aayana stated. "Hmmm... same to you." I said and smiled. Riki said, "It's the last day yaar!! We ain't gonna meet after that. At least say the word for that first and last time to us." "Sorry, but I can't.. I wished you both by saying same to you.." ........ "BUT...." they said . "PLEASE" I said. "Okay.. Please try to forget us and everything related to us. Goodbye" Aayana said. "Hmm.." this sound out from me. They left and I continued to stare at them for a few minutes. Then I shouted as loudly as could, "NOOOooo.......". Subsequently, after that, I felt a smooth touch in my forehead and heard a known voice near me, "Piku..." I opened my eyes and saw mom. She's sitting near me, her one hand was in my forehead and another was in my cheeks. I sat in the bed and looked at the mirror that's in front of my bed. I tried to realize and understand what had happened to me. Soon I realized that it's neither the evening of 18th August nor I was at the Belly view point. It was the last night and I was in my bed. It was a dream that I never want to be real in my entire life. "Piku.. tell me dear..!" Mom said, shaking my hands. I just whispered three words "A Dreadful Dream."
