THE CENTURIONS ODYSSEY ( Part 3)

THE CENTURIONS ODYSSEY ( PART3)

THE DEPARTURE
The morning of departure was solemn and overcast, with a heavy air of anticipation hanging in the Centurion's household. As the first light of dawn broke, the Centurion, dressed in a simple robe, gathered with his soldiers at the courtyard. His household had assembled to bid him farewell.

Tears glistened in the eyes of those who had served him faithfully for years. Their voices trembled as they whispered heartfelt blessings and wishes for his safe return. Even the horses, once proud and mighty, seemed to understand the gravity of the moment, bowing their heads in a gesture of reverence.

With a heavy heart, the Centurion turned to Cornelius, his most trusted servant, and said, "Take care of our home, Cornelius. You are the steward now. Watch over our family until I return."

Cornelius nodded, his eyes filled with tears and his heart sorrows. Determined to make his master proud so he promised. "I shall take care of the entire household you entrusted in my care until your return". May God guide your path and grant you speed on this journey my lord."

With one last embrace from Cornelius and a final glance at his weeping household, the Centurion set out on his journey with his loyal soldiers, who followed him closely. Their faces were etched with determination, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

The journey across the seven seas was nothing short of perilous. Towering waves crashed against their ship, threatening to engulf it. Fierce winds howled, pushing them off course. For days and nights, they battled the unforgiving elements, their resolve tested at every turn.

Yet, the Centurion's spirit remained unbroken. He stood at the helm of the ship, his eyes fixed on the distant horizon. "We shall not falter," he declared, his voice unwavering. "We sail not just for one life but for the hope of many. Our determination will carry us through."

As they continued their arduous journey, the Centurion's unwavering courage and the loyalty of his companions became a source of inspiration. They pressed forward, knowing that the life of their beloved servant, Pennacio, depended on their success.

Little did they know that their truest challenges lay ahead, as they ventured into the unknown territory beyond the seven seas. The Centurion's odyssey had only just begun.
