The narrow muddy path was covered with dried and fallen leaves with each steps my presence was know to the onlookers, I was walking with great efforts with bruised feets.
there was a long cut on my wrist done by them, they knew I wont reach far even if I escape. Blood loss would kill me if not that then the animals who will be lured with its smell will definitely kill me.
At last I hear the cars passing by meaning I am about to reach the main road.
suddenly I was laying flat on the bed of dried leaves, there was tug on my left leg as if some sharp teeths took hold of my torn pants, I didn't dared to look back but the growling sound was coming closer, my heart was pounding and my vision had dark spots I knew I would faint any moment now.
The growling animal who was behind me came face to face now asif the animal knew I don't have strength to get up. The animal's eyes were peculiar blue and they were staring into mine challenging me to stop him from eating me.
Before passing out I felt him licking my tears and am so sure I heard him whining as if the animal was upset because of my situation.
