Old Man's Mirror (Part 2)
"In conclusion, Prince Ade is the best candidate," the old man said.

The princes looked at one another and sighed.
"We'll relate this to the king."

Hours later, the princes returned to the palace. The old man wrote a message in a scroll for the king and sent it through his homing pigeon.

Prince Ade became distant from his brothers during the ride home, despite the love they had for one another, he still feared that they would hurt him.

After one of the king's guard got the message from the pigeon, he took the message to the king. After the king read its contents, he became worried. He had thought that the mirror would help him in choosing but had only made it more complex for the old man had stated in the letter that any of the princes could become the king. His mirror was never to condemn anyone but to let them see what is wrong and how to make it right. The princes already know what to do to make their future right so any of them could be a king.
