His eyes glowed a red tint as the rain fell from the sky, his presence alone sent shivers down the two teens who were ready to put their lives on the line.
“...Is this him? Zydite looked at Lloyd as he had a golden aura around him. “The Demon King?” his eyes glowing a yellow tint.
“I think so…” Lloyd responded as he had a red and black flame aura form around him, his eyes glowing red as his sclera faded to black.
Zydite and Lloyd locked their eyes on The Demon King, a sudden silence occurred as The Demon King took a step forward. He took another step before taking another, each step he took grew faster as he then grew into a speedwalk, then a jog, then a full-speed sprint. He was quickly closing in on the two as they braced.
“Here he comes!” Zydite yelled as he made a shield made of light appear.
“I can see that you idiot!” Lloyd barked as he made a hand gesture making a shield of black fire appear in front of him.
The Demon King collided with their shields as the sheer force of his blow sent the two flying back making their shields break. Zydite quickly caught himself as he made golden chains appear, quickly wrapping them around the Demon King. Now pulling himself down he drew his arm back and then threw it forth attempting to strike the Demon King in the jaw. The Demon King quickly evaded this attempt as he spun in circles, thus pulling Zydite towards him. This happened due to The Demon King being wrapped in chains and Zydite still having a grip on the chains.
“That would have maybe worked if you let go of the chains, then again, even if you did that…I would find some kind of weakness.” The Demon King said as he grinned, due to him spinning in circles and loosening the chains he grabbed Zydite who was pulled down from this. He swiftly sent a blow to Zydite’s gut, sending Zydite flying back and slamming into a mountainside.
“GRH!” Zydite hit the mountain as he panted, the blow to his gut made him light-headed as his aura flickered, but he snapped out of his current state and quickly made his aura reform and heal his wounds.
The Demon King looked at the crater in the mountain that formed when Zydite slammed into it. “Thought he had a buddy with him…” He thought to himself as he walked towards Zydite.
“I may be his teammate, but I sure as hell ain’t his buddy!” Lloyd suddenly appeared as he struck The Demon King in the gut, sending him flying into the air, while he was in the air Lloyd jumped up, creating a crater where he once stood and rapidly making his way towards The Demon King. Lloyd struck him in the jaw, sending him into the ground, and creating a massive crater. Lloyd grinned as his sharp teeth now revealed themselves. He descended to the ground as a cloud of dust filled the area as he hit the ground.
“You're strong, I’ll give you that.” He stood up as the part of his body where Lloyd struck him was now cracked, that same spot soon reconstructing itself. He then points at Lloyd, a strange purple aura forming around him and Lloyd.
Lloyd suddenly couldn’t move, he struggled to even move an inch....
