Do you have a death wish is a common joke that people say around my household. This time, I did. Demetrius Paigly kidnapped my family. Every moment is filled with thinking of them. My mother, Joanne, my father, Micah, my brother, Thomas, and my sister, Chloe. This is what I get for seeking out of the house. Suddenly, everyone you know and love is gone. The one who didn't get taken, Julia. That's me.
I stroll around my empty house, wondering why someone would do what they did. I knew, there was nothing else for my family. They are probably being tortured, or something else horrible. They are wishing for death. I know that much. So, it only makes sense for me to die along with them.
Today I woke up with snow outside. Perfect place for death. I went to the neighborhood lake. No one was around. I carefully broke part of the ice, and the water underneath was still flowing. I jumped in. Pajamas and all. I sat there, drowning, forcing myself to not come up for air. As my world started to become black, someone above me lifted me out of the water
"JULIA!!"
My sister. My whole family stood behind her, alive and well. As everything blacked out, and I knew I was dead, I also knew, it was for nothing. My family never got kidnapped. So where, where did they go?
