The sky was green. To her it has always been like that. Though really the sky is blue. Just life is different for each of us. Her green sky symbolises her journey, her outlook. That what she can see as barriers do not exist for others. That's just it though, each and everyone of us is a unique individual. On our own journey. Our own pathway in life. Some have a key ready to open the door to their next step. Some sit and wait for the door to be opened. A helping hand a step up. To reach out. Others had to smash through. To find their own way. And that journey may feel like it is everlasting. That's just life. A moment can define us. A moment can also be unimportant in the grand scheme. However opportunity is a privilege. A moment to prove ourselves. No matter our journey. Opportunity does appear. Sometimes someone is holding that door open. She learnt that sometimes, the enemy is actually herself. So always remember to ask yourself, are you ok? And remember the answer. That everything will be ok somehow and someway. Like the phases of the moon. Our lives have phases. Just not as consistent. Tomorrow can be your greatest day. Tomorrow can also be your saddest. Just look up at the sky when dawn is breaking. Or concentrate on your breathing. The consistencies of life. No matter what happens. You have your words. Your belief. Your heart. Your mind. Your green sky. Our emerald dreams.
