"Grey"
Part 2

No sound was heard, at least nothing voiced out loud within the high oxygenated air of the metallic looking, octagonal room. One single pearly beam of light seemingly from nowhere yet everywhere, shone directly apon several tall, slender, robe clad figures that surrounded another single unrobed figure that was half squatting, half kneeling with two arms that ended in three slender elongated digits. All six were planted firmly apon the surface that was the floor, as if grasping for any support, though the surface was too smooth that such could be so.
The iridescent light highlighted the central being. It was a graphite colored grey, silver lights seemed to glint dully just under the skin. It looked smooth, yet wet and shiny. Touching the rocking figure though would seemingly feel like stroking the silkiest of the finest silk ever created.
The head was overly large and shaped like a rounded upsidedown triangle. Two huge eyes dominated the center of its face, so black they reflected as silver mirrors. No nose to see or even holes. And nothing showed like a mouth.
These creatures did not breath air, as the lacked lungs to do so. They did not need mouths to vocalize, but speak they did!
All communication was achieved telepathically. Thoughts, feelings, pains both physical as well as mental and emotional was achieved mind to mind. Each new "Láiel"as what the newly birthed ones were called, had this ability.
And some were born with special abilities, like mind control or teleportation abilities. A very special few, very rare, Láiel had more powerful gifts that only strengthened as they grew and aged, which for them spanned usually around three but no more than four centuries.
The nude Grey was currently bringing her first Láiel, one of the rare ones as told about above, into their world. Only this new Láiel would have abilities apon the rarest of abilities, and change any and all futures for their race, in ways never communicated ever before.
