CHAPTER - 2

I also went out of the room after Ethan ran when he heard his father's voice. I saw a man wearing a blue business coat , holding Ethan in his arms. Ethan was smiling so big that it almost reached his ears. I smiled seeing him so happy.
Wait! Why am i happy ?
"Dada, she saved me." Ethan said pointing his little finger at me. The man turned around and--oh my god!!!!
He had the most handsome face i had ever seen, He was a good 6'2 and the blue suit absolutely suited his muscled arms.
" Thankyou for the help. I really appreciate it." The man said with a small smile. I just stood there completely shocked. Even his voice is music to my ears.
I snapped out of my bubble and quickly nodded, " It's fine Sir. It was my pleasure.Your son is very cute and mannered.
He smiled a bit more and said," I know. Thank you."
I nodded again as i didn't know what else to say.
" Well, as now he is with you , i will get going. Bye Ethan." I waved my hand at him and turned. But Ethan's soft voice made me turn around when he said, " Don't go mamma."
I froze and when i turned to fully face them , I saw that his father was also standing very stiff.
Ethan was holding out his hands towards me as if he wanted me to hold him.
"Ethan, son she isn't your mother." The man said trying to make Ethan understand.
Ethan looked at his father and said," No dadda, she is mamma."
The man looked at me. I saw his eyes held a very different emotion. They were sad yet trying to be strong. The man looked away from me like he didn't wanted me to see his emotions. I smiled and looked at Ethan and said," Ethan your mom will be at home waiting for you OK? "and patted his chubby cheek.
His eyes were starting up making my heart break too.
" No mamma. Don't go ." He said , fat tears coming out of his eyes. He was trying to get out his father's grip to reach me but his father wasn't letting him to do so.
" Please can you go. He will be fine." My heart was really aching but i was not his mother and his father also wanted me gone.
I nodded and said," Please take care of him." I was trying really hard to not cry. I took my bag and groceries and ran out of their and Ethan's cries became louder. As soon as i got into the car tears made their way out of my eyes. I didn't know why i was crying for a kid i just met but it was making my heart ache. I hope he stays happy and safe. With that last thought i started my car and drove towards home.
