Chapter 15

"good, what were you doing there standing alone?"

"nothing, can I ask you something?" asked Aarav while he gave her glass full of water to drink.

"hmm"

"You are not Riya."

Riya choked on her water as she heard his question.

"What? what are you talking about?" Riya stammered.

"You are not Riya, you are patient right now." Aarav laughed on his own joke which was very lame for Riya.

Seeing him laugh brought her some peace, she always felt safe around him as she felt when she was around Rohit.

The feeling of being safe was what she felt around Rohit and his love was
what she wanted in her life. Alas, she was not even able to spend half of her life with him.

"You looked as if someone pointed a gun on you!" said Aarav with a smirk.

"what?"

"hmm, when I said you were not Riya."

"No, it is just that just-

"what just that?"

"It is just that your acting was very good that I thought you were serious"

"so what if I was serious?"

"it would have not affected me as I am not Sara, I am Riya!"

"But I didn't even mention Sara."

"I just assumed-"

"What did you assume?"

"why?"

"what why"

"why are behaving like this all of a sudden?why?"

"because"

"Because?"

"because you said something that the only Sara knew"

"if it was only Sara who knew about it then how do you know that it was only Sara who knew about it?"

Aarav was tongue-tied when he heard her saying this. He stood their silent thinking of an answer.

Riya saw him standing there silently, let it be for a minute or a second she felt as if he knew her very well but she didn't remember him at all.

The first time when she saw him was
during a celebration party of some private airlines. She tried very hard to remember him but she couldn't.

"So you know her very well ha?"

She saw him stiff without answering anything.

"why? How did you know her? By her boyfriend?"

"yes"
