Know the Difference
Dad advise on your birthday: learn the difference between the hood rich and the real rich. The hood rich like to look rich. But are broke and have nothing to show for it. The real Rich don't look rich. They look broke but, they invest in physical, liquid, and monetary assets. They know their worth.
To be a man is to know the difference. So you don't get caught up in the imaginary cycle of the hood rich. Because the real rich may not look rich or even smell rich. They'll even pass up filet mignon often and opt for a PB&J sandwich. Even the idea of being hood rich is an oxymoron. Can't pay your light bill. But, you spend you bill money on a pair $250 Jordans.
