Akash turned to look back, his eyes strained as he peered at her in the porch light.

Akash: I'm sorry. I'll come back tonight to say goodbye!

He ran off, leaving her on her front porch and a shiver rolled through her.

Cherise: What's going on out here?

Aria: Akash dropped me off and had to leave. I think they might have found something!

Cherise: Come on inside!

Aria glanced at over her shoulder, but Akash had already long gone.

Cherise: Akash will be alright!

Aria nodded beifrr going inside. She followed her mother inside, and she looked looker over at her.

Cherise: He hasn't marked you yet?

Aria: Mom, you know that's such a private moment between mates, plus, I'm not ready yet ....!

Cherise: You will be ready soon. You're already infatuated with him!

Aria: I wouldn't say I'm infatuated with Akash, but I do have feelings for him!

Cherise: He's an excellent mate to have on your side!

Glooms sets in, but her mother's smile lightened the air.

Aria: We bad a lovely dinner at the park. It was beautiful, and I enjoyed getting to know Akash, and then he asked me to accompany him to see Brisket's mother!

Cherise: How is Lydia?

Aria: She's broken mom. I don't know what to do for her!

Cherise: All we can do is to be to there for her, offer her an ear to listen to, and arms to hug. You did well by joining Akash. I'm proud of you!

Aria: Thanks mom. I wonder what mom knows about love considering she rejected her mate. But I better not bring Leon up. She never talks about him because it upsets her. Akash is good, and when I'm with him, I feel safe, but I wasn't ready to find my mate yet!

Cherise: Why aren't you ready for your mate? What is it keeping you back?

Aria: Don't get mad!

Cherise: You want to find your family .....!

Aria: Can you blame me mom? I need to know who I am. How am I supposed to rule over this pack when I don't even know myslef?

Her mom patted her heart and smiled.

Aria: But why would they abandon me? Is is because of my disability? Could they truly hate me enough to throw me away, leaving me for dead as a baby?

Cherise: Those are the questions we might never know the answers to. You have me, Crecent Creek pack, and Akash surrounding you with love. You don't need anybody else!

Aria: I want to believe my mother, but I can't stop the questions from overtaking my mind!

Suddenly the doorbell rang before there was a firm knock.

Cherise: Are yoh expecting anyone?

Aria instantly wrapped in Akash's spicy and wooded scent, fillinghet core with sunful thoughts.

Aria: It's Akash!

She eagerly ran to the door relieved to see he was ok when she opened it.

Akash: I apologise for running off like that. I returned for a goodnight kiss, but now that you're Infront if me, I'm not ready to say goodbye yet!

Aria: Goodness help me, he's so cute!

Akash: Will you come back out with me?

Aria: Is it safe?

Akash: Unfortunately, we couldn't pick up any scent. There was no one around for miles, so yes, it's safe for now!

Cherise: Where do you think you're taking my daughter? It's late!

Akash: To look at the moon!

Cherise: I don't want her out at night Akash!

Akash: Do you truly think that I'm incapable of protecting Aria? Is that what you think of your Alpha?

Her mom backed down and sighed before nodding and going upstairs.

Akash: You may want to change into something comfortable for what we're a out to do!

Aria: Ok, wait here, and I'll go change!

She ran off towards her bedroom while Akash waited downstairs. She dugged through her closet for something comfy but cute to wear.

Aria: Not that I have to prove myself to Akash, but I'd like to wear something that will impress him!

She fixed her makeup and hair beifrr returning downstairs to meet Akash. Akash took her to the forest nearby her home.

Akash: You look cozy!

Aria: I didn't want to get too cold out here!

Akash: I'm sorry to keep you out late. I felt bad for leaving do abruptly before!

Aria: It's alright. I understand your commitment to the pack!

Akash: I had a commitment to keep my mate happy too. I hope you know that!

Aria: I know. You came back for me, after all!

Akash moved his hand to the back of her neck, bringing her mouth closer to his.

Akash: How about that goodnight kiss?

Aria: I feel like I can melt at his feet when he kissed me!

His hand pressed at the small of her back as the kids intensified. When it ended, she saw stars and couldn't hold back the smile that formed.

Akash: I have to remember to come back for another one of those when I take you home!

Aria: Did you bring me here to make out?

Akash: I brought you here for something else. I'm going to shift and take you for a run through the woods!

Aria: You're going to what?

Akash: You heard me. But until we seal our mating bond, I can't communicate with you in my wolf form. My senses are stronget when I shift, I'd know if there was any danger!

Aria; I trust you!

Akash: After I shift, you may climb on my back and hold on tight ok!

Aria: Ok, I'm so excited!

Akash shifted into his wolf form, and watching the quick transition almost brought her to her knees.

Aria: I'd give anything to shift like that ....!

She hopped into Akash's back, and he took her through the woods at a quick pace. Akash slowed, and she glanced at the peaceful surroundings.

Aria: What a magical night, I love it here!

She rubbed Akash's head and giggled when his powerful tail wiggled. Leaning down, she pressed a kiss on his forehead.

Aria: Thank You, Akash. This means a lot to me!

Akash suddenly shifted, knocking het to the ground. His massive human form crushed her as he gazed Into her eyes. He looked at her wickedly as he smirked.

Akash: I will take you right here and mark you as mine when you're ready!

Aria: I don't think I'm ready yet!

Akash: I can wait, but just so you know the longer you wait, the wilder I'll be when I can finally make you mine. My wolf Inside is going cozy. The lust I feel when you're near is .......!

Aria: I know ..... I feel it too!

She puller his face to hers, pressing her lips to his and getting lost in another kiss.

Akash: You may not be to mate and bond with me, but let me show you how good I can make you feel!

Aria: I can't, can we stop please!

Akash immediately withdrew his hands and picked himself up, kneeling to give her space.

Akash: As you wish. I don't want you to feel pressured!

Aria: Admitted, your sweet talks turn me on, and you're drop-dead gorgeous ...... I want to give in, but .......!

Akash: You don't have to explain. We can wait!

Akash stood and helped her to her feet. His strong hands made her feel small, but his heart made her feel wanted.

Aria: You sure know how to impress a girl!

Akash: You're the only female I'd ever want to impress. When you're ready, I'll mark you!

Aria: Will it hurt?

He fixed his serious gaze in her.

Akash: I'd never hurt you, Aria. You'll know pleasure and happiness with me!

Aria: I believe you Akash!

Akash: It's getting late, and your mother is already pissed at me. I should take you home!

Aria: You don't want to sleep in the woods with me again?

Akash: My inner wolf is restless. I need to mate with you, and I don't want to wake up and force myself on you!

Aria: Oh, I didn't realize!

Akash: It's ok, I can wait but can't spend the night with you again. Not until you're ready!

Aria: Can you shift and give me a ride back?

Akash: Bringing my wolf out again, is not a good idea. Having your body so close ......!

Akadh dipped his head to her ear, and his teeth nipped at her earlobe.

Akash: You bring on a raging hard-on!

She tried to stifle a laugh.

Aria: Does that mean no more kisses?

His mouth was on hers in seconds. His miss was feral and needy, and she loved how he holded her. Suddenly a scent caught her nose, sending a bone-tingling shiver down her spine. She tried pulling away, but Akash was lost in her kiss.

Aria: Shh Akash wait, stop!

He broke the kiss and looked at her, confused. She turned around and reached for her gun!

Akash: What is it?

Aria: You don't smell that?

Akash sniffled the air and cocked an eyebrow at her. There was no time to react ad someone or something jumbed out from the trees ahead of her.

Unknown wolf: Arghhhhhhhhh

Aria: Oh noooooo
