Hıdırellez is characterized by vibrant rituals and traditions. People leap over bonfires, symbolizing a cleanse from illnesses and misfortunes. Homes and gardens are adorned with red ribbons, and doorways are decorated with fresh flowers and green branches to invite prosperity.
