Part - 3 : Journey to the space
Commander: So, Shepard, ready to make history?
Alan: Absolutely, sir. It's the opportunity of a lifetime.
Commander: Indeed it is. But it can be a lonely journey up there. Anyone special waiting for you back home?
Alan: Just one. Her name's Amelia. She's been my rock through it all.
Commander: Sounds like you've got quite the bond. You'll have to tell me more about her when we get back.
Alan: I'd be happy to, sir. She's the reason I keep pushing forward, even when the stars seem out of reach.
Commander: Well, Shepard, let's make sure this mission is one for the history books. And don't worry, we'll make sure to send your message loud and clear to Amelia.
Alan: Thank you, sir. That means a lot.
As Alan's spacecraft, the Freedom 7, pierced the veil of the unknown and soared into the heavens, he felt a rush of exhilaration unlike anything he had ever experienced.... surrounding by the vast expanse of space
But as the mission progressed and Alan prepared to return to Earth, disaster struck. The spacecraft encountered unforeseen complications during re-entry, and the landing was far rougher than anticipated. Alan's heart pounded in his chest as the spacecraft jolted and shuddered, the force of impact rattling his bones.
When he finally regained consciousness in the hospital, Alan's head throbbed with pain, and his body ached with every movement. As he opened his eyes, he was surprised to find Amelia and his parents seated beside his bed, their faces etched with worry and relief.
"Alan, oh thank goodness you're awake," exclaimed Amelia, her voice trembling with emotion as she reached out to grasp his hand.
"Son, we were so worried about you," added Alan's father, his eyes brimming with tears.
Alan blinked in confusion, struggling to make sense of what had happened. "What... what happened? How did I get here?"
His mother leaned in close, her expression grave. "The spacecraft... it crashed during re-entry. You've been in the hospital for days, Alan. We thought we might lose you."
As the reality of the situation sank in, Alan felt a mixture of disbelief and gratitude wash over him. Despite the harrowing ordeal he had just endured, he was overwhelmed by the love and support of those gathered around him.
Turning to Amelia, he squeezed her hand tightly, his heart overflowing with love and appreciation. "Thank you for being here, Amelia. I don't know what I would do without you."
Amelia smiled through her tears, her eyes shining with unwavering devotion. "I'll always be here for you, Alan. Always."
