Pusher Man
Fame and fortune come in different degrees and levels in life. People graduate not just to get a high paying job, throw money in people's face such as family who are not as successful. You graduate to teach, what level can you teach on in your chosen field of degree? Teach , was exactly that , Teach coached youth baseball in the community part time and Teach , real name Curtis Jackson played minor league baseball for a small brand new league in New York City called GE , a new league created by owners of the lighting company General Electric. Now this isn't the real story of Curtis Jackson, everybody knows at least a semi- version of the rapper and his official squad G-unit records. The shooting , the rap beefs , the millions of many who think up schemes all the time to get down with such major people. You got to be a player, you can't be a shook one and even if you are not a crook you got to be real as possible, not expecting to slide in a two bit story on a respected writing blog thinking that is the golden ticket into the rap game Wonka. You write from the heart and if G-unit happens to get wind you either get lucky , get them to cash in on you as a writer , then snap at the right time with your so called illest rhyme the New York crew from such a fast pace industry ever heard from your slow, fake writing non demo tape having azz , or somebody else picks you up on the humble somewhere totally different and you get some money over there. Alot of people not just rappers said it best , " Having the most amount of money in your pockets means it's unlimited , because a person gets to a point where the money chases you". Now, back to my story of a very real sounding version of how Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson got started rapping , and please don't reference"Shoeless" Joe Jackson like luck just popped up. The ball was on the fly at the practice field, one of Teach's students was practice pitching to him just for fun on a hot day for the other youth baseball players. His hit from the youth pitcher went sky high , soaring out the park. Kids hoot , hollered and clapped as Teach wrapped up the day's practice with water hand out and snack packets. As the last of the kids were helping him gather the practice equipment, he noticed a thump coming from a vehicle passing by , slowing up in front of the field. It was this duo he knew from seeing them around town, Tony and Lloyd driving a burgundy Mercedes Benz. They slowly rolled past Teach who was now getting into his personal little Ford van. The duo, gave a slow head nod , in terms of saying what's up in silence. Teach acknowledged their what's up with a return silent head nod , then the duo kept rolling in the burgundy Mercedes Benz, down the street off into the evening flare of the fading sun. Gone from the field now and entering a local Walmart to pick up some stuff for the house, Teach had on his wireless earbuds , jamming, shopping and freestyling to himself as he shopped , " Something, Something , Something, Something about nothing that's not smooth , I see player's in this game to lose....". As he was busting a flow Teach looked over and saw this mid skinny white guy with a Detroit Tigers, the white guy had a smirk and Teach took off his earbuds as he himself was chuckling a little , most people get embarrassed when other people accidentally hear them flow . " You kicking that fire dog , I've heard alot worse, name's Mathers" , the guy extended his hand , Teach gave him dap back , " Aww man , you know sometimes people know other people can hear them flow ? It's a confidence thing , when you're young you get embarrassed , over time when you think you got better sometimes you'll be in the zone and spit on pourpose...
