The f word
In a small town, there lived a young lady so kind,
Raising a child with love and care, a beautiful mind,
Together they laughed and played, so happy and free,
But a lesson she had to learn, one that made her see.

For the young lady, with language so rough,
Used the f-word too much, it was quite tough,
But she never realized the impact it had,
Until one day, it left her feeling sad.

They attended after-school classes with glee,
A little audience watching, full of curiosity,
And as the girls left, she pondered what to do,
She decided to write, her thoughts shining through.

To her mother's surprise, the words she had penned,
Were filled with the f-word, again and again,
But as she read aloud, the message was clear,
Her mom was her teacher, someone so dear.

"Thank you, Mom," she said with a smile,
"For teaching me lessons that stretch for miles,
You're such a great teacher, in every way,
I'll be careful with my words, starting today."
