An Eternity of Love
The sun was just beginning to rise over the serene city of Bangalore, casting a warm orange glow over the bustling airport. Passengers were constantly streaming in and out, while the sound of announcements and the buzz of chatter filled the air. Amidst the chaos, a love story was unfolding.

At one of the departure gates, an old couple caught the attention of a few passersby. They were sitting close together, their hands intertwined, gazing lovingly into each other's eyes. The woman had a head full of silver hair while the man's once dark hair was now a soft shade of gray. Wrinkles adorned their faces, but their love seemed untouched by the passing of time.

Curious about their story, I decided to approach the couple and strike up a conversation. After exchanging pleasantries, the couple revealed that they were heading to their hometown in Kerala to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They had moved to Bangalore in their younger days, but every year they would go back to their roots to relive old memories.

As they reminisced about their early days, I couldn't help but feel envious of their enduring love. They had met at a wedding in the village when they were both just teenagers. The love between them had bloomed over the years, and they had overcome numerous obstacles to be together. From differences in caste to financial difficulties, they had overcome it all with unwavering love and commitment towards each other.

Their love story had taken me on an emotional rollercoaster. They laughed as they recounted their silly fights, tears welled up in their eyes as they talked about the loss of their children, and their faces lit up with pride as they talked about their grandchildren. It was clear that their love was pure, selfless, and unbreakable.

As their flight was announced, the couple slowly got up from their seats, and I offered to help them with their bags. As they made their way towards the gate, I couldn't help but notice the small gestures of love between the couple. The man held his wife's hand firmly as they walked, making sure she didn't trip, while the woman lovingly adjusted her husband's collar.

Just as they were about to board the plane, the woman suddenly stopped and reached into her bag. She pulled out a small photo album and showed it to me. It was filled with pictures from their wedding day and the years that followed. The couple smiled fondly as they flipped through each page, reliving every moment captured in the photographs.

I was brought to tears as I watched the elderly couple, their love still as strong as ever. They were a reminder that true, everlasting love existed, and it was possible to grow old with the person you love.

As the couple hugged me goodbye, I couldn't help but feel grateful for having witnessed such a beautiful love story. And as the plane took off, I couldn't help but think that perhaps, one day, I too would experience a love like that. A love that could stand the test of time, just like the love between that old couple at the Bangalore airport.
