"Naoko! Naoko!"

I call her again and again but she was gone, swallowed by the early morning fog. I hope it keeps her safe. Safe from the world, safe from me too.

I stop running behind her, my heart hurts so much, I didn't see this coming at all. I thought we were in love, that she wouldn't leave but then she's gone.

I try hard to concentrate, to look beyond that cloud of mist but nothing, I can't see anything beyond it.

"That mist must have been magical," my friend Sinzo suggests.
"Maybe," I say
"but then who created it?" I ask

"That was a powerful spell, all the spells I casted to find Naoko ended up leading to nothing, I believe she must have returned to her own world." Sinzo tells me with an expression of suspicion

"Leorio..." Sinzo puts a hand on my shoulder trying to ease my pain. My heart feels like someone has ripped it out of it's place and then crushed it under an elephant's feet.

"It wasn't her world buddy, she won't have been safe here, so in a way she did what you wanted her to do from the start." He solaces me or atleast tries to

"She could've atleast warned me once!" I burst out, I don't know if it's my anger that I was left out of the loop or was it the fact that my heart was broken.

"But the question is, who did that magic, as far as I know we were the only people who knew she was in our world. Could it be...?" Sinzo leaves the sentence hanging in the air

"That someone else found out she was here and..." My voice cracks, my eyes open wide in fear

"And threatened her to leave?" Sinzo completes

"But if that was the case she could have told us right!?" I ask, he scratches his chin in suspicion. The pain of my heart break was gone and now a fear took it's place, the question that echoed in my mind was 'Is she safe?'

"You don't worry, I'll find out. Don't think too much." Sinzo tells me and leaves. I try to use my magic power to find her but to only have same conclusion, nothing!
