A wet leaf fell on her shoulder making her jump in fear. Startled, she shifted from her hiding place behind the bushes.
The branches snapped and the leaves rustled. She broke the silence.
"Found you," her assailant snarled, towering over her behind the bushes.
She froze and broke a cold sweat. There was no escaping from the large man's grasp. His big hands took her by the arm as if it was a twig and roughly pulled her out.
Another man exclaimed from behind, ecstatic and sardonic. He was smaller but vile, nonetheless. If the man holder her was all brawn, this one was more the brains.
"Where did you think you were? You can't escape the woods, princess," he mocked, leering at her.
She didn't speak. Even if she wanted to, they've already cut her tongue.
Her captors dragged her back to the cabin. The closer they were to the lit cabin, the less hopeful she is for her...
