Omolara's Cross Episode 1
Omolara stepped out of the keke napep, her eyes scanning the crowded streets of Oshodi. She had just arrived from Ibadan, eager to start her new job at a Lagos hospital. As she navigated through the throngs of people, a familiar voice called out her name.

"Omolara! Omolara!"

She turned to see her childhood friend, Tunde, grinning at her. They hadn't seen each other since secondary school.

"Tunde! What are you doing here?" Omolara exclaimed, as they hugged warmly.

"I work around here," Tunde replied. "But I didn't know you were back in Lagos. What brings you?"

Omolara explained her new job, and Tunde offered to help her find a place to stay. As they walked, Omolara couldn't help but notice the curious glances from passersby. She felt a sense of unease, wondering if her past mistakes would catch up with her in this new city.

Just then, a sleek car pulled up beside them. The window rolled down, revealing a suave-looking man with a charming smile.

"Omolara, long time no see," he said, his voice dripping with familiarity.

Omolara's heart skipped a beat as she stared at the man who had once broken her heart...

Omolara's eyes widened as she stared at the man who had once been her everything. "Kunle," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Kunle's smile faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure. "Omolara, it's been ages. How are you?"

Tunde, sensing the tension, excused himself. "I'll leave you two to catch up. Nice running into you, Omolara."

As Tunde walked away, Kunle stepped out of the car and approached Omolara. "You look...different," he said, his eyes roving over her.

Omolara felt a surge of emotions: anger, hurt, and a hint of longing. "What do you want, Kunle?" she asked, trying to keep her tone neutral.

Kunle shrugged. "I heard you were back in Lagos. I wanted to see how you're doing."

Omolara raised an eyebrow. "You didn't care about my well-being when you left me heartbroken in Ibadan."

Kunle's expression turned serious. "I know I hurt you, Omolara. But I've regretted my actions every day since then."

Omolara snorted. "Save it, Kunle. I'm not interested in your apologies."

Kunle took a step closer, his eyes pleading. "Just hear me out, Omolara. Please."

Omolara hesitated, unsure if she was ready to confront the demons of her past. But a part of her wanted to know why Kunle had come back into her life...
