She stared at Akash, eager for him to tell her anything he might have found.

Akash: "I haven't found anything solid, but around the time Crecent Creek found you as an infant, a pack called the "Shadowfang" was under attack"

Aria: "Could I have been from the Shadowfang pack? where are they now?"

Akash: "It's hard to say where you've come from, but unfortunately, they're not known survivors from the Shadowfang"

Aria: "What do you mean?"

Akash: "The blood Reign pack were fierce, but they crossed another pack of wolves called the "Mooncrest", and Shadowfang paid the price. There are not known pack members in any database. If there were survivors, tracking them down would be nearly impossible"

Aria: "But that could explain why I was found alone in the woods as an infant. Think about it ...... Shadowfang was under attack, and my parents hid me to give me a chance at survival"

Akash: "Anything is possible. It's also possible I'm wa my off"

Aria: "Mabey we could find clues if we travel to their last known location. But there's no point in pushing. He won't let me travel outside our town right now with a killer on the loose"

Akash: "We should sleep. We both need rest. I've got a long week ahead of me"

Aria: "Yeah, goodnight Akash"

She laid her head on Akash's chest and dozed off, wondering about her family. A few weeks passed, and tensions were high among the pack. They've picked up an unknown scent just along the outskirts of the forest. Akash and Cedrick have been busy canvassing the area day and night, and she had only spent nights with Akash. He promised her a day at the park, and she was looking forward to the time alone"

Akash: "I know you prefer the forest at night, but I thought a daytime picnic in the park would be a welcome change"

Aria: "It's a lovely day for a picnic. Thank you of rputting this together"

Akash: "I owe you a romantic day. It's time for me to turn off Alpha mode and focus on us"

Aria: "How long do I have you to myself?"

Akash: "All afternoon and all night. Hours and hours of you and me alone"

Aria: "That sounds lovely"

Akash: "I packed us, all your favourites: Sandwiches, fruits, and pickles, and I brought you these .......",

A FLOWER BOUQUET

Akash: "I know you love pink and flowers so ......,"

Aria: "Akash these are beautiful, thank you"

Akash tugged her towards him and stealed a kiss.

Akash: "What would you like to drink?"

Aria: "I'll have bubble tea"

Aria and Akash sat and talked while enjoying a sun filled picnic in the part. It was quite but she felt safe. He brighter her cheek with his fingers before tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Akash: "Are you upset with me?"

Aria: "Why would I be upset with you?"

Akash: "Because I feel like I've trapped you here in town when you wanted to be out there, exploring"

Aria: "I know it isn't safe to be out wandering yet. I can wait"

Akash: "When can u assure that pack that we're safe from harm, I will take you to search for clues about your family. Finding answers means a lot you, I only want to make you happy"

Aria: I trust you will always me happy"

Akash: "Since you're stuck here with me, I'd like to take you on a local adventure"

Aria: "But you went through all this trouble setting up this adorable picnic"

Akash: "We'll come back to it. Let me show you someplace special"

Akash shifted into his wolf form and eyed her.

Akash: "Climb on"

Aria: "You're taking me for a ride? Wait ...... I can hear you"

Akash: Yes, Ofcourse you can, we're bonded now remember?"

Aria: Right. It's going to take some time getting used to it. But I'd rather stay here and enjoy the sunshine with you"

Akash: "If that's what you like, but you're missing out on a lot of fun"

Aria: "I'll take mg chances"

She and Akash talked and lost themselves in tantalizing kisses for the afternoon.

A FEW DAYS LATER .......
Aria and her mother joined Akash and his family to announce her move. He had been begging her to move in with him for weeks because being apart was unbearable.

Aria: "I must look my best tonight, but I'll look casual tonight. No need to show off, this is pretty enough"

Akash greeted her as she entered his home with her mother.

Akash: "What a beautiful night"

Aria: "The full moon is illuminating everything. It was a gorgeous ride over"

Akash: "Cherise, you look radient tonight"

Cherise: "Thank you for inviting us over, Akash. Your home is very lovely"

Akash embraced her mother.

Akash: "My father and brother are in the dining room waiting. Akash stealed her hand as he guided her through his exquisite home. She couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like yo live there now. Tyran which is his father and Lennix stood up as she entered. She was grateful to see her former. Alpha looked at her and Akash with pride.

Tyran: "Cherise, Aria, you ladies look lovely tonight. It's good to see you both in good spirits"

Lennix: "Good evening ladies"

Lennix sat down, hardly making eye contact with her. The rest of her sat around the table, Akash was making sure he was next to her, holding her hand.

Cherise: "So ...... the two of you invited us here as family. What news do you have?"

Her mom eyed her stomach and grinned.

Aria: "Oh God, she thinks I'm pragnent already"

Akash: "I wanted to let you know that my lovely mate is moving in with me this weekend. We wanted our family's blessings"

Cherise: "That's wonderful news. I'll miss having my baby girl at home, but you have my blessing"

Tyran: "No ...... pups yet?"

Aria: "Hahaha no ....... pups yet"

Akash: "Hopefully soon"

Lennix nearly spat his beer out and groaned.

Lennix: "I really had to be here for this?"

Akash: "Show your respect brother"

Both men stood and snarled at one another, and Aria knew that Akash will stop at nothing to defend her.

Aria: "Lennix, you need to stand down now"

Tyran: "Lennix, you're out of line again"

Aria: "A fight is not worth it Akash"

She grasped at Akash's hand, and his stone - cold features smooth. Lennix sighed and sat down.

Lennix: "Congratulations"

Her mother cleared her throat and smiled at her, hoping to cut the tension in the room.

Cherise: "It will be quiet an adjustment not having you at home, but I understand the need to be with your mate"

Aria: You know I'll be by visit all the time, and I'll still see you at the cafe'"

Akash: "About that ........

Akash and her mother eyed one another.

Cherise: "Aria, Akash and I agree that it would be best for you to take some time off from the cafe' "

Aria: "Oh don't be silly. We built that place from the ground up, mom of course, I'm still going to work there"

Akash: "It's in your best interest to stay near me until you're given birth. Especially with your condition"

She could feel her protest rising in her throat as she looked bettwen Akash and everyone else.

Aria: "I'd like to speak to you about this later, Akash"

Tyran: "There's nothing to speak about later. This is your duty as Luna to Crecent Creek. You must obey your mate and leaders"

She sat back in the chair, crossing her arms and cursing under her breath.

Aria: " I didn't realize my role as Luna would require me to toss all my dreams aside"

Akash glanced at her with pain in his eyes as she frowned.

Akash: "I'm sorry, Aria, please don't be upset. We can discuss this behind closed doors"

She was startled to hear Akash speak inside her head, but then she remembered her bond to him. She reached up and touched his mark.

Aria: "You're right, we will, or you won't get any of me for a long time, Akash"

Akahs: "You know you have me wrapped around your finger, my queen"

Akash grinned and squeezed her hand to reassure her that he was listening to her and cared.

Lennix: "I can't sit here and watch this anymore"

Lennix stood up, his eyebrow gleaming with swear as he eyed each and everyone.

Lennix: "I have an announcement of my own. I'm leaving Crecent Creek"

Akash: "Over my dead body"

Lennix: "I can arrange that"

Tyran: "Don't you dare use that tone with your Alpha. You'll stay here in Crecent Creek, and that's the end of it"

Lennix: "He's not my Alpha anymore dad"

Lennix stormed out of the dining room.

Aria: "Lennix no! You can't go out there alone"
