For any goal that we chase, there are multiple factors. A common mistake that even smart people do, is ignoring the weight of the different factors, and assuming that the target is a simple average of all factors.
While in reality, 1 or 2 factors are the "Core Requisites", which have 60-80% influence on the result.
Identifying the core requisites, and giving them first priority, is the key to doing complicated things. The Peripherals can be tuned later or parallelly.

E.g Exercise, sleep & quality food are the core requisites of a superior lifestyle; not car, home or dress. Meditation, in any form, is the core requisite of sound mind management. Mind management is the core requisite of achieving great success in most domains! Trust is the core requisite of awesome relationships!
You can keep working on the peripherals to fool yourself, but unless you address the core requisites, you'll make little progress, get frustrated and eventually feel it's undoable.

Lesson learnt: Don't oversimplify things. Life is mostly a weighted average, not a simple average.
