He was getting ready to place the Cadillac in gear when the guy knocked on his window. Jorge looked up and lowered his window halfway; the guy asked him how long was he planning on staying in the country. He answered three or four hours today and rolled his window back up. The guy knocked on the window again; this time he used his badge and pulled his identification from his back pocket. Jorge cut off the engine and got out of the vehicle. The officer smiled and asked for some identification and/or a passport. Jorge’s day was not going as planned; he didn’t like attracting attention especially the police. The detective briefly looked at his passport and asked what type of business did he have in the country today. Jorge asked him was there something wrong with his papers or the vehicle he was driving. The detective informed him that he appeared to be acting a little evasive.
