I get out of bed, determined to just put on a shirt and leave. I quickly wear my shoes, get my keys and phone, open the door and sprint out. Mom calls me from behind, she was mad but when I left in the middle of the night she forgot about it. Almost as if she wasn't mad. She thinks the night is so dangerous.
