Vampire s End by Mark Antony Raines
#WritcoStoryChallenge
The sun was setting in the horizon. I watched it and wondered should I walk towards it or wait back, But I was drawn to that bright yellow sun once thought of as a god by ancient people in ancient times.
I just wanted once to feel the rays and heat of the yellow star millions of miles away from this planet earth.
I wondered some more for I knew soon this would be my very last sunset and at the same time my very first.
For centuries I was part of the plutonium darkness of the night seeking out the red hot flowing blood pumping in the veins in humans of which I was once before I got turned by my master.
I enjoyed my reigns of terror for a while but I got lonely for I had killed all I loved for the blood lust always won.
Myth says I should be dead by now for vampire s cannot stand the light due to it burning them to ashes the moment thier see it,but myths can be wrong as I found out.
So it's not the sunlight that will kill me it the fact out here out in the desert I have no food to retain my strength and form, how delicious it is to starve to death a fate many of my victims will be happy about.
