I was floating feeling as light as a feather, the thing I was floating on felt like a soft river that was moving slowly to meet its stormy ocean, I felt like it was a calm before a storm.
Then I remembered the kidnapping, the bruises, the cut on my hand the bleeding and me blacking out. I jerked my body feeling I was in the hands of my kidnappers they will hurt me again, no no no I need to run, I started thrashing and kicking when I heard footsteps near me. I felt a prick in my hand and soon my body became like a wiggling jelly and my mind became numb and everything turned black like someone switched off the lights.
Next time when I woke up I was in a room with white colour prominent there was a machine beeping next to me and the wires of that machine were attached to my hands. I heard the door opened to my left and a person came in, I turned stiff even though I knew he was a Doctor seeing him wearing a doctor's coat.
"hey hey its ok I am just here to make sure you are ok, please don't be scared I mean no harm"
the doctor assured me seeing my discomfort he came near slowly and checked my pulse delicately. My eyes started to get teary remembering the last time when someone touched me this delicately. I felt safe even though I knew the storm was coming, I just wanted to feel safe at the moment just once. With that thought I closed my eyes thanking the person who saved me whomever that was. Before everything turned black a flash of blue eyes came to me as if telling me that those eyes were the ocean I was floating to.
