What was that sound?Someone's playing music,probably. I looked out of the window.The lights on the plane's wing were twinkling,as the clouds went by in the midnight blue sky.It felt like the plane wasn't moving at all.I wanted to capture the beauty of it all in my mind.But not all memories stay as they are in your brain.I took out my phone and started to record.I watched the video
and smiled,satisfied with the result.I loved sitting by the window,be it a car,bus,train or a plane,except when it rained.I didn't like getting wet.
The air hostess brought in some cup noodles.I carefully opened the lid,slowly taking in the yummy smell of the spicy food.It was a little too spicy than I would like,though.My mom tells me that I have a baby mouth.I can not tolerate spice,that's true,but I can't eat anything without it either.
"This is Copilot Jonathan Wilde,we will arrive at our destination in 10 minutes.Please be seated,as we prepare for landing."
My heart started pounding.I placed my hand over my chest,but I knew it wouldn't calm down.I could feel warmth gathering in my cheeks.I tucked away a stray hair strand behind my ears and wore my earmuffs and wrapped my scarf around my neck."We welcome you to the city of love,Paris,ladies and gentlemen.The temperature is -2 degrees Celsius. Please be careful when you open the overhead storage cabin.We wish you a happy stay."I passed through the security check.My eyes scanned the terminal.No sign of them.
I walked slowly,pushing my trolley with luggage.I couldn't spot them in the sea of people.Christmas holidays,what did I expect?
I came out of the terminal and walked a little more.
There they are!I could see a camel coat and black mittens and a red beret,and i knew it was the love of my life,Jimenez.I didn't care about the snow,nor my trolley.I'm sure it looked like one of those cheesy scenes in romantic movies we loved watching as he wrapped his arms around me,and I received his bear hug, smiling from ear to ear,and hugged him back with all my might.He smelled so good.I didn't notice that we were both in tears.He placed his soft lips on mine,and yet again I felt the rush of blood into my cheeks."I missed you so freaking much,Andŕe.Two years is a painfully long time",he said,with his voice so heavenly. We gazed into each other's eyes,blushing hard.I was lost in his dreamy ones.
The spell was broken when I heard barks from our car and boy,was I surprised when I looked inside."I swear,she has gotten so big!I had no idea!"I exclaimed,gaping at our husky,Melody."You have known her only through the pictures I sent you!Isn't she beautiful?"asked Jiminez."Yes,of course,she is,husband!"I giggled,as he pulled me into a warm embrace that I longed for and missed so much.
