A young boy was wondering around a monks meditation hut.
He was peeping from the huge tall walls that fenced the community home.
suddenly one monk notices this young lad ,walks towards him.
what brings you here?
who are you?
where do you live?
what is your name?
The young boy stares rather blankly at the monk.
quite for long ...
the monk holds his wrist walks him through the garden into the lobby of the community hall.
WISH TO COME IN?
he asked exsasparetedly!!
the little boy said what do u people do inside?
the monk said
We Pray .
We learn.
We thank God.
so the boy said pray and ask for what?
learn from what?
and thank god for what?
The monk realised thia was not something he could tackle thus he called out to a fellow monk and whispered into his ears
inform guruji we have a visitor.
after few minutes of looking around the young lad sees someone like his grandpaa..
old , bearded, slowly walking, walking stick in hand.
the old monk greeted the young lad with a smile.
sooo!!
what brings you to this place?
The young lad SAYS "CURIOSITY "
old monk asks: have u found what u came looking for?
young lad: well i want to ask u a question? May i?
sure go ahead, said the Monk.
i have heard all my elders say...
you must learn from your surroundings.
thats how u become wise..
the old monk nonded in affirmation.and looked rather keenly at the young lad.
is that true?
old monk answered "but not everyone wantsto become wise insint it?
the young lad agreed yeah... true
so what exactly do theses things want to teach?
the monk thought for a while and answered

You see the sun rises every morning
it doaent have any goals to teach u anything but its upto u if u wish to see this phenomenon and learn anything... so nothings around us happpens with the objective to reaching us anything.

its we who decide either learn or dont.
